Book "God Gave Us Love" by Lisa Tawn Bergren and art by Laura J.Bryant

About the Book: As Little Cub and Grampa Bear’s fishing adventure is interrupted by mischievous otters, the young polar bear begins to question why we must love others… even the seemingly unlovable.
In answering her questions, Grampa Bear gives tender explanations that teach Little Cub about the different kinds of love that is shared between families, friends, and mamas and papas. Grampa explains that all these kinds of love come from God and that it is important to love others because… “Any time we show love, Little Cub, we’re sharing a bit of his love.”
This sweet tale will warm the hearts of young children as they learn about all the different sorts of love, while the gentle explanations of each provide a valuable opportunity to encourage children to share with others a “God-sized love.”

Laura Bryant was born and raised in South Florida. She thinks she always enjoyed drawing and was fortunate to have a creative Mother and enthusiastic art teachers in school. She attended the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore where she studied painting, printmaking and sculpture.
In 1997, after many years of searching for the ultimate job, she finally set her sites on a career in children's books. Illustrating children's books has given her an endless supply of creative freedom and joy. She is grateful every day for the opportunity to express herself in the world of books.

My Review: This is a wonderful book with a magnificent art and will make an unforgettable gift to any child and he/she will ask you to read it until the book is completely worn out. The presentation is gorgeous: a hardcover book with a beautiful art in the cover and inside. The content is great. The book is written in a very easy language appropriate for children. GramPa Bear gently explain to his Granddaughter Bear the different types of love and the importance of sharing God's love for his creatures.
This beautiful message is passed in a lovingly way.
This is a must have in the permanent library of any Christian family that wants to transmit the message of God's love to their child/children.
